Vagrant in Ubuntu(12.04) Desktop

Set up ruby first

Before install Vagrant needs set up ruby. I use rbenv for setting Ruby environment

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install build-essential zlib1g-dev curl git-core sqlite3 libsqlite3-dev

$ git clone git://github.com/sstephenson/rbenv.git ~/.rbenv
$ echo 'export PATH="$HOME/.rbenv/bin:$PATH"' &gt;&gt; ~/.bash_profile
$ echo 'eval "$(rbenv init -)"' &gt;&gt; ~/.bash_profile

Ubuntu 12.04 にmemchached

仕事でZendFrameworkとDoctrineを使うことがあったのですが、Doctrineでmemcachedを使用するので、その際にVagrantのUbuntuにmemcachedをインストールした時のメモです。

実際にやったこと

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install php5-memcache
$ sudo apt-get install memcached
$ sudo apt-get install php-pear
$ sudo pecl install memcache	
$ sudo vi /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini
extension=memcache.so

補足

まったくまっさらなUbuntuであれば、最低限下記のものも追加で必要です。

Bitbucketでソースを管理しているんですが、githubも使い出して、一度keyを整理しなおしに、下記のエラーがでて、Bitbucketにアクセスできなくなりました。

Warning: Permanently added the RSA host key for IP address '*.*.*.*' to the list of known hosts.

調べてみると、ssh-keyが二つ（同じPCで過去に作成したもの）が登録されていたので、それを消して解決できました。
下記の画面より登録してあるKeyが確認できます。

bitbucketをubuntu上で設定

bitbucketを使ってソースは管理しているのですが、下記のようにubuntuで設定しました。

$ pwd
$ home/hoge
$ ssh-keygen

下記のようなエラーがでました。
sshの設定によりますが、パーミッションの設定を変更で解決しました。

$ chmod 600 /home/hoge/.ssh/config

最近、WordpressのRoots Themeを触っているのですが、その中でlessが使われていたのでそのメモ

$ sudo gem install less

コマンドを入力させやすくしておく

調べてみると、sudoでインストールしたので、lesscのコマンドもsudoで実行しないといけないらしい。。。

$ sudo lessc hoge.less &gt; hoge.css

既に、Rubyの開発環境はrvmで導入済みの状態です。

せっかくなので、Roots Themeのlessでのcssを書き出しもメモしておきます。

$ cd ./wp-content/themes/roots/css/less

$ sudo lessc bootstrap.less &gt; bootstrap.css

レイアウト系

ちなみに、上のRoots Themeは、標準では、css/の中にあるcssを読み込むんですが、下記のやり方だとlessの中に書き出されます。

$ sudo lessc ./less/bootstrap.less &gt; bootstrap.css
$ sudo lessc bootstrap.less &gt; ../css/bootstrap.css

上記のコマンドを試したけどダメだったので、./inc/roots-actions.phpを書き換えました。

Ubuntu11.04のgit&sshサーバの構築

なるべく月額の費用を払いたくないので、自分でｇｉｔサーバを立ち上げることにしました。
その際のメモです。
いろいろつまずいたとこがあるので、同じ問題にぶつかった人のお役に立てれば幸いです。

運営環境

開発PC:Ubuntu 10.10 Desktop
設置先：Ubuntu 11.04 Server

構築方法等は、ページ下にある参考ページにより詳しく記載してありますので、そちらを参照してください。

トラブったところ＆迷ったところ

既に使用しているユーザの接続

はじめに、sshの接続を許可している鍵もちのユーザを使用としたのですが、
鍵の登録がうまくいかなかったので、gitの接続専用ユーザを作成しました。
その際に、サーバからcloneしてみると下記のエラーがでました、一応頻繁に使用しているユーザなので、既に使用している鍵ファイルが壊れるのが怖かったので、諦めました。
ちなみに、エラー内容下記のようなものでした

$ git clone ssh://&#12518;&#12540;&#12470;&#21517;@localhost:&#12509;&#12540;&#12488;&#30058;&#21495;/gitosis-admin.git
Cloning into gitosis-admin...
Enter passphrase for key '/home/&#12518;&#12540;&#12470;&#21517;/.ssh/id_rsa':

ポートを指定して接続

sshのポートを変更している場合は、下記のようにアクセスします。

開発PCの設定について

sshの接続で、鍵認証を行っているんですが、それをどうやって開発PCに読み込ましていいのかに悩みました。
下記の方法で、うまくいきました。

$ chmod 700 サーバから取得した公開鍵 #sshの設定によるがStrictModes yesにしているときに必要

$ vi /home/ユーザ名（自分の使用しているもの）/.ssh/config

User サーバのgit用のユーザ名

新規プロジェクトの追加方法

環境は以外に簡単に構築できたのですが、新規プロジェクトが、どこでどうすればいいのか迷ったので、メモしておきます。

お客様のブラウジング用パソコン数台にUbuntuを導入しました

この記事は、2009年に書いたものなのです。

会社でお客様がブラウジングするためのパソコンが10台くらいあるのですが
機体が古いのと、まったく管理されていないとで、あまりいい閲覧環境ではなくなっていました。

そこで、Ubuntuを導入して、より快適にブラウジングを楽しんでもらおうと、2週間程から少しづつUbuntuを導入していきました。
その時の作業memoです。

パソコンのスペック

OS　Windows 2000
HD　DELL　OPTIPLEX　GX180
HDD　20GB
MEMORY　256
CPU　Pentium3 1.2G
です。
セキュリティ対策ソフトは、一応入っていましたが、管理されていないのであまりよろしい状態ではなかったです。

Ubuntu9.04のインストール

その時は、まだUbuntu9.1はまだ正式リリースされていなかったので、9.04を選択しました。

言語選択

お客様用ユーザの設定

ディレクトリの確認

[php]# cd /home/

なかったら
[php]# mkdir /home/hogehoge
# chown hogehoge -R /home/hogehoge
# chmod 0777 -R /home/hogehoge[/php]

自動ログインの設定

[システム]→[システム管理]→[ログイン画面]
とたどり，「ログイン画面の設定」を開き，
“セキュリティ”タブを選択してください。

「自動ログイン画面を有効にする」
ユーザ名「hogehoge」

Adobe Readerのインストール

[システム]→[synapticパッケージマネージャ]→[クイック検索]
→[xpdf]
パッケージ名でソートして[xpdf]〜[xpdf-utils]まですべてチェックしてインストール
右クリックより、指定して適用を選択して完了

Adobe Flash Playerのインストール

updateマネージャー

[システム]→[アップデート・マネージャー]→[設定]
アップデート機能を止めておきました。

再起動後にhogehogeユーザでログイン

背景の設定

デスクトップの色を下記の色に設定

Windowsと違うので、お客様がどこからブラウジングができるのか分からないため、デスクトップにランチャー（Windowsでのショートカット）を設置
右クリックで、ランチャーを設定

全体を通して

今回初めてUbtuntuをゆっくりと触りました。
今までCentOSか、Fedore、Redhatを中心に触ってきたのですが、Ubtuntuは初めてでした。
微妙にコマンドが違ったこと、だれでも上記の作業ができるようにGUIの画面で作業を進めたことで、すこし時間がかかりました。

今後の課題

まだ全機種をUbtuntuにしていません。
というのが、お客様が基本的にWindows以外のパソコンをすごく毛嫌いしているからです。
はじめに２台導入したのですが、UbuntuのデフォルトのGUIの画面でおいておくと、誰も触りませんでした。
お客様に聞いてみると、画面が違うので触りたくないとのことでした。
そこで、Windowsと同じ青色の画面に、ランチャーを作成してWindowsぽく画面を見せると使ってくれるようになりました。
（上の人からはランチャのアイコンをIEと同じにしたらもっと使ってくれるんでないと言われました）

すこし驚きました。

Ubuntu10.10とXFX AMD Radeon HD 6570

今週は、ずっとUbuntu10.10をセットアップしていました。
その中で一番手間取ったのは、XFX AMD Radeon HD 6570を動かすことでした。

いろいろなドライバなどを試したりして、その際に、失敗してOSの再インストールを繰り返すこと５回ついに
下記のドライバーで落ち着きました。
せっかくなので、その際に使用したドライバーをメモしておきます。

導入したドライバー

ATI Catalyst™ Proprietary Display Driver – Linux x86 & Linux x86_64
ちなみに、34bitです。

上記のドライバーをダウンロードしてきて、下記のコマンドでダウンロードしました。

$ chmod +x ati-driver-installer-10-12-x86.x86_64.run
$ sudo sh ./ati-driver-installer-10-12-x86.x86_64.run
[/php]

上記のコマンドを実行するとドライバーのインストールできますので、再起動後、システムー＞設定ー＞ATI Catalyst Controle Centerより設定を変更ができます。

Ubuntu10.04とIronMan2とモニター

今日は、Ubuntuに始まって、IronMan2で、モニターな一日だった。

Ubuntu10.04のインストール

今日はUbuntu10.04のリリースだったので、会社の不安定なPCがあったので、それにインストールしてきました。
特に、大きな問題もなく無事インストール設定できました。
まだ触っていないのですが、9.10よりたちあがりは格段に早くなっていることは分かりました。新しいテーマの「light」のデザインはMACに似ているなと思ったぐらいです。
ちなみに、Ubuntu10.04では、下記の点が改善されたようです。

起動速度の向上
グラッフィックボードとの接続関係
デスクトップのテーマの「light」
MeMenu
iPhoneとの接続関係

明日あたりに、MeMenuを使ってみます。

IronMan2

今日から、公開だったのですが、字幕もない映画はやっぱりまだきつかった。。。
英語だったので、ストーリーがわからなかったことは痛かったけど、映像、ストーリー展開、敵の弱さとあっけなさにはがっかりしました。
Oneがまったく期待無しでみて、面白かったので今回は期待して見てしまったのがいけなかったのかも。。。
ただ、映画の中でStark（主役）が開発に使っている３Dのモニターのようなものは、かなり憧れました。

モニター

で、家路の途中に粗大ごみの中に15インチのHP1502を発見しました。
ぱっと見た感じ、液晶漏れもしていなそうだったので、まだ死んでいないのかと思いさっそく家にかえってつなげてみました。
で、つながりはしたんですが、、、、ずっと点滅してて結局使い物にならなかった。。。。シドニーにはまだ使える液晶モニターを捨てる人はさすがにいないかぁ。。。残念無念

とまぁ、いろいろあった一日でした。

Ubuntu 10.04 LTS が今日から公開です。

Ubuntu 10.04が今日公開です。

さっそく会社の端末にインストールしてみます。
ダウンロードはこちらからいけるようです。現時点ではISOs と torrentsでダウンロードできるようです。

ちまに、今日はIronMan2も公開日です。
昨日、友人とチケットを取ったので、仕事が終わったらみてきます。
